This On30 railroad is modeled in a freelance setting, circa 1950’s, with influences from the Colorado narrow gauge railroads found throughout. Names will all sound familiar, but track arrangements were fit to the space and may not look “just right”. The layout has been imagined as most CO lines from that era, with rails being sent out in search of the resources with the easiest access. Look for details that make each scene and plenty of scratch-built everything!
The railroad is controlled using Digitrax walk-around throttles and switching is present on almost every train, using car cards with waybills. The pace is very relaxed, with the owner providing verbal clearances for train movements.
Sound-equipped locos really add to the ambiance and enjoyment of this layout, so brush up on your whistles rules! <wink, wink>
